Our founder started making candles in the kitchen of her small Tacoma apartment in 2022. She was looking for a homey vibe in her space, without breaking the bank and candles were the perfect answer.

However, it was harder than she expected to find one that would elevate her space without being overpowering. She also wanted a safer alternative to the existing candle options, why was that so hard to find? Not easily deterred, she decided to make them herself! It wasn't long before everyone started asking for her candles and thus Melt'd by K was officially created!
